What’s more fun than unboxing a brand new Particle device and bringing an idea to life? How about doing it while recording an episode for a popular engineering podcast?
Podcasting an IoT Project Build
Earlier this week, I ventured out to Houston, Texas to visit MacroFab and speak to Parker Dillmann, MacroFab Co-Founder and Lead Engineer on Episode #122 of the MacroFab Engineering Podcast (MEP). We discussed Particle, Mesh, separating IoT hype from reality and more.
We also did a live onboarding of some Particle Photons and walked through a few of our blinky starter projects in Build and the Console. Once we got our devices online, we built our own Particle-based IoT project and chatted about the results.
I won’t spoil the details of the project or the outcome, you’ll have to listen to find out more! So, head on over to the MacroFab site, check it out, and let us know here in the comments what you think about it. And, if you’re not already a subscriber of the MEP, you should add the show to your pod-catcher of choice!
Thanks MacroFab!
Thanks again to MacroFab for having us out to the office and on the Podcast! If you’re looking to create prototypes or production-runs your Particle-powered devices, I recommend checking out MacroFab for yourself. They have an amazing, online UX for setting up PCBA runs and you can get $50 off your first (or next) order with them.
