Embedded World 2019 is fast approaching, and we’ll be there showing off the latest Gen 3 System-on-Modules (SoMs), demoing a connected brewery system, and sharing how to take mesh networking mainstream. Here’s what you need to know about the event and how to connect with us on site — our team can’t wait to meet you.
- Join our session on mesh networking
- First look at Gen 3 SoMs hardware
- Get a free brew and meet Simon Kemperat who will be showing off his Particle-powered beer taps
- Set up a time to meet with the team
From new radio technologies to full IoT solutions like Particle, Embedded World is a can’t miss event for professionals working with embedded systems. Held in Nuremberg, Germany from February 26-28, this event offers days-full of presentations and rows upon rows of booths with over 1,167 expected exhibitors.
Learn how to take mesh networking mainstream
Don’t miss Particle General Manager of Prototyping Will Hart as he shares how mesh networking is going mainstream and what have historically been challenges with the technology. Framing the presentation is the question if Mesh networking is a powerful wireless technology that’s been used in M2M applications for decades, why isn’t mesh networking a larger part of the IoT conversation? Will breaks down the history and explains why now is the time you’ll see mesh networking go mainstream.

First look at Gen 3 SoM hardware: A, B, and X Series
Be the first to see our newest addition to the Particle hardware line-up — Gen 3 System-on-Modules — at Embedded World 2019. Our Gen 3 SoMs announced at Spectra are designed to allow you to easily transition from prototype to production when building large-scale IoT products.
Each of the new Gen 3 SoMs — the A, B, and X Series — have the same great connectivity you’ve come to expect with the Argon, Boron, and Xenon, just miniaturized and with a high-speed M.2 connector for easy connection to your custom PCB. You won’t want to miss this chance to see our newest products in person.
Simon says, it’s time for a free beer time
Joining us in the booth along with the new SoMs will be Simon Kemperat and his Particle-powered brewing system. Simon and his team at Datacake use advanced flow sensors to track the amount of liquid output from the beer taps and use Particle to send that data to a custom dashboard that’s easy for pub managers to monitor.
Cyan marks the spot
Embedded World is massive, so you’ll be wise to note our location before adventuring through the multiple halls and rows of booths. You can find us in Hall 3, booth number 3-632 (shown above in cyan).
