We are incredibly excited to announce the release of our brand new Particle device setup process, that you can try out today at setup.particle.io! This tool provides a seamless and intuitive way for users to set up new Particle devices, so you can get to building your Particle-powered projects as quickly as possible.
Over the years, we have offered a variety of different methods for setting up devices, ranging from mobile apps to web apps to command line tools. While these options have been useful, new browser technologies (specifically WebUSB) have enabled us to deliver the best experience for all Particle devices through a web browser.
The new setup process is now the default experience for new users. It has been designed with user-friendliness in mind, so even novice users can get started with Particle quickly and easily.
From linking your device to your account…
